Front Desk
I was born in Herne Bay and started work as a Dental Nurse at aged 16. Apart from taking a break to bring up two very tall sons I have worked in dentistry for over 30 years, with the last 10 years spent on the front desk.
Out of work I am a member of two choirs. I also really enjoy travelling to new places, but in the summer I love nothing more than hours spent at my beach hut with one or other members of my large and close family.
What would your favourite holiday destination be and why?
New York, it’s just got it all! (apart from Beach Huts)
What is your phobia?
Happy to say I’m not in the least bit phobic, I’m big and brave.
If marooned on a desert island, what five items would you wish to have with you?
Favourite eyebrow tweezers, along with a magnifying mirror. Cheese, Prosecco and a portable fridge.
What is your idea of food hell?
Running out of cheese.
If you could be anyone for a day, who would that be?
One of my children, they never do washing up!
Favourite car?
My little Fiat 500 at the moment.
Favourite record or band?
I’m a little bit Country.
Favourite movie?
The Sound Of Music, sorry!
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do?
Buy a dishwasher!
